1 The State appeals from an order granting Brent Reeds motion to suppress evidence obtained from a traffic investigation after the State violated the courts sequestration order by sending its witness a transcript of a closed motion hearing. The trial court concluded that while the States actions were unintentional, the error exposed the defendants trial strategy to the States key witness and impacted Reeds ability to receive a fair trial. The State contends that the trial court erroneously exercised its discretion because a sequestration order violation does not warrant suppressing all evidence obtained during the traffic stop. Because we conclude that the trial court properly addressed the relevant facts and reached a reasonable decision, we affirm.
